![]() This September, Loretto welcomed nine new Loretto Volunteers into our year-long service program – our largest cohort of volunteers ever! They will living in volunteer communities in Washington, DC, St. Louis, and New York City. The group convened at the Loretto Motherhouse in Kentucky for a week of orientation. There, they learned Loretto history, got to know each other, and discussed the four core values of the program: community, social justice, simple living and spirituality. The week culminated with a prayer service, in which the volunteers expressed the commitments they are making this year. Read their bios and read a volunteer reflection on the beginning of the year. |
