Keithlee (they/them) grew up in St. Louis, Missouri but has settled in the DC area, to live in intentional community with chosen family. After living in four different cities in three years, they relocated to DC to work as an advocate on issues of immigration reform and prison abolition in 2015 and never left. Keithlee approaches their work from a place deeply rooted in community building, collective liberation, and equity. mary margaret murphy, SL - Volunteer Coordinator (El Paso)
Mary Margaret (she/her) is a Sister of Loretto and a social worker by training. For 11 years, she worked at Villa María, a shelter for women experiencing homelessness in El Paso, TX, which is now a LoVo placement site. She has also worked as a first-grade teacher, a health care caseworker, and a community organizer. Now, she accompanies the El Paso volunteers and serves as Vice President of the Loretto Community. Claudia (she/her) is a Sister of Loretto and has spent many years in varied forms of education—teacher, administrator and campus minister at SIUE in Edwardsville, IL. She also spent six years as the Loretto Volunteer part-time coordinator in St. Louis. Claudia retired for approximately one year and has recently returned to this position. She loves gardening, traveling and baking French tarts and pies. She raises funds for Annunciation House in El Paso by selling her delicious desserts. Contact Claudia.
Stephanie (she/her) recently moved to Denver from Louisville, Kentucky, where she spent most of her formative years. Her past work includes community organizing in urban Louisville as an AmeriCorps Vista member, resource development for JustFaith Ministries, and accompanying young people on retreat with CrossRoads Ministry. Stephanie also works with Volunteers of America of Colorado, where she provides supportive services for veterans who are experiencing homelessness. Stephanie cares deeply about building a more inclusive and equitable community.
