Where We Work

St. Louis, MO

Home to vibrant justice and activist communities and a spunky set of Loretto Community members, St. Louis is a great city to be a volunteer. Volunteers at this location have access to house cars to carpool to work.

Washington, DC

Junia House, our Loretto Volunteer house, is located in the Petworth neighborhood of Washington, DC.  A residential urban neighborhood, Petworth is home to a mix of long-time resident families and young people.  At Junia House, five volunteers share a five-bedroom house.  All volunteers take public transit to work and get around - using the bus lines that pick up blocks from the house or the Georgia Ave/Petworth metro station, located .8 miles from the house.

New York, NY

Our United Nations volunteer is always the only Loretto Volunteer in New York City.  We try to find a community living arrangement for our New York volunteer; each year it looks different.
