Junia House
Our
Loretto Volunteer house is located in the Petworth neighborhood of Washington, DC. A residential urban neighborhood, Petworth is home to a mix of long-time resident families and young people. At Junia House, five volunteers share a five-bedroom house. All volunteers take public transit to work and get around - using the bus lines that pick up blocks from the house or the Georgia Ave/Petworth metro station, located .8 miles from the house.

Mercy Volunteer House
Our United Nations volunteer is always the only Loretto Volunteer in New York City, so we partner with other local volunteer programs to provide a community living experience for him/her. This year, our UN volunteer is living with Mercy Volunteers in Woodside, a vibrant, safe, residential neighborhood in Queens. Historically an Irish American neighborhood, today it is home to a range of immigrant communities. The house is convenient to the 7 subway line.
El Paso, TX
When a Loretto Volunteer works at our El Paso placement, she typically lives in community with Loretto sisters.
