- We’re small. With 10 volunteers a year, each volunteer gets personal attention. Each volunteer has a real hand in crafting his or her experience of the program.
- Our placements are unique. We have some creative placements you won’t find elsewhere: a gay-positive Catholic organization; a public radio show about religion; a group that promotes feminism in religion – among others. See them all here.
- Loretto is spunky. Our
sponsor is the Loretto Community, is an order of Catholic sisters and
lay co-members that is known for its inclusivity and spunk. The
volunteer program is similarly rooted in the Catholic social justice
tradition, and is proudly open to a diversity of beliefs and
backgrounds. If you are too, you will feel at home here.
