Former Loretto Volunteers

                                  2006 - 2007 Volunteers  

Michelle, a 2005 English/Internatonal Studies graduate of Loyola University in Chicago, volunteered at Project WISE in denver.  Michelle coordinated the babysitting program, served as a mentor, assisted with  Story Circles, wrote grants, and helped keep the office organized.

Shannon volunteered with S. Mary Peter, Loretto's NGO representative at the United Nations.  Shannon has a master's degree in Gender and Peace Building from the University of Peace, a university sponsored by the UN in Costa Rica.  Shannon helped 200 girls from around the world attend the Commission on the Status of Women in March 2007.

 
                                              Summer 2006 Volunteers
Laura, friend of a 2001-2002 volunteer, helped S. Pat in the organic garden at the Loretto Motherhouse in rural Kentucky.

Carly, a rising senior in International Studies at Marquette University, volunteered with S. Mary Peter at the United Nations.

                             2005 - 2006 Volunteers

 

 Elisa  Bresba works as an intake specialist at Seedco, a social service agency in Upper Manhattan. She continues to live with the Lasallian Volunteer community in the Bronx.
 Andrea Keber is pursuing a Master's Degree in Counseling Psychology at the University of St. Thomas in Minneapolis. Andrea works as a Developmental Trainee with preschool age children who have Autism.

Camille Williams completed a fellowship with El Pomar Foundation and married Ian Howells. They live in Colorado Springs. Sarah Miner teaches fourth graders in the Denver Public Schools. Barb still coordinates the Loretto Volunteer Program.
