 2008-2009 Volunteers

Mike (right), who graduated from the University of Maryland with a degree in Religious Studies, volunteers with Maureen Fiedler SL and former Loretto volunteer Katie Jones. Maureen hosts Interfaith Voices, a public radio show promoting discussion on key issues from different faith perspectives. They work at the Quixote Center in Washington DC.

Ashley (second on left) volunteers at the Loretto NGO office at the United Nations with Co-member Sally Dunne, Loretto's new UN/NGO representative, Rosa Lizarde, and Mary Peter Bruce SL. Ashley recently received her Master's Degree in Cultural Anthropology from the University of Roehampton in London.

 
 

Summer 2008 Volunteers

            

Kate volunteers at Villa Maria in El Paso.

Beth volunteered at the Southwest Improvement Council in Denver this summer.

Sarah is completing her volunteer year at EarthLinks in Denver.

Katie is completing her volunteer year at Interfaith Voices in Washington, DC.

 Kate graduated from Willliam Jewel College and served as a youth minister at a parish in Kansas City before joining the Loretto volunteers.
