Get to know just a few of the many Loretto Volunteers who have served in the past 10 years.

Beth Ryan
volunteered at Denver's Southwest Improvement Center (SWIC) for the summer of 2008.  She since finished her master's degree at University of Montana in Missoula, and now works at SWIC again, as program director.  Her cousin, Mary Jo, is currently Loretto Volunteer at the United Nations.

Mike Leard
volunteered at Interfaith Voices in 2008-2009.  The storytelling experience he picked up as a Loretto Volunteer continues to serve him well in his current role as a Park Ranger for the National Mall and Memorial Parks in DC.  He writes that he "will always remember the creativity and dedication of his fellow Interfaith Voices staff."

Stephanie Wolfe
volunteered at the Loretto office at the United Nations in 2009-2010.  She has gone on to pursue a Masters in Social Work from Boston College. 
 
Carly Moore volunteered at the Loretto office at the United Nations for the summer of 2006.  She went on to finish her undergraduate degee in Public Relations and Political Science at Marquette University, a Jesuit university in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.  Today, she lives in Washington, DC where she is the legislative correspondent in the office of Democratic Congressman David Obey, of Wisconsin.
 

Amy Stenson
volunteered at New Ways Ministry in 2001-2002.  She went on to work with Sr. Sandy Ardoyno, SL at La Casa de Amigos for a summer before living for two years in a L'Arche Community in Mobile, Alabama.  Today, she is a pursuing a master's dual degree in social work and theology at the University of Denver School of Social Work and the Iliff School of Theology.  She is also a co-member of Loretto and serves on the Racial Justice Committee.
